More than 100 years of history!
Médecins francophones du Canada is North America’s oldest French-language medical association. Created in 1902, it brings together physicians from all over Canada. Médecins francophones du Canada has been cultivating a tradition of excellence in the medical field for over 120 years.

Rally French-speaking physicians to support quality medicine with human values by providing them with resources and tools for their initiatives and projects.

Médecins francophones du Canada is an organization accredited by the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ). Our training entitles physicians to an attestation of the hours of recognized professional development activity (formerly category 1 credits). At the national level, the hours of professional development activity recognized by Médecins francophones du Canada are eligible for Mainpro+ credits from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).

Sophie, age 37, is a specialist nurse in an FMG. She aspires to improve patient management practices and provide the best possible service and attention. Recognition and collaboration with the physician are paramount to her.
